Cemblocks Armorflex

The Armorflex® erosion control system offers a reliable alternative for a broad range of erosion control and drainage applications.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the Armorflex® system conforms to natural ground contours, accommodates settlement without cracking, and requires minimal site preparation.

It consists of a flexible, interlocking matrix of machine-compressed, cellular concrete blocks of uniform size, shape, and weight. These blocks are connected by cables running longitudinally through preformed ducts, allowing for quick installation over site-specific filter fabric on prepared surfaces.

Armorflex® revetment systems combine the advantages of lightweight blankets and meshes—such as porosity, flexibility, vegetation support, and habitat enhancement—with the strength and durability of rigid linings that resist high tractive forces without erosion.

As a result, Armorflex® has proven to be both a functional and aesthetic alternative to dumped stone riprap, gabions, cast-in-place concrete, and other heavy-duty erosion protection methods.
